One of the best books on Shakespeare and Film. The writing is lively and incisive. The approach is historical and filmic (i.e., directing, camera, lighting, etc.), and the chapters are organized accordingly. There's plenty of discussion of particular films, but there's no extended, chapter-length treatment of individual films. It's a good read.
