When Truth worked for me, it really worked. In the moments it didn’t, I was still invested enough in the story to keep pushing through. The plotting was good; it was some of the characterizations and editing that left something on the table, for me.My very favorite part of Truth was the juxtaposition of the two relationships Drew experiences. They served to show the difference in someone exerting control over a person for their own satisfaction and giving up power to someone because you trust them and they will only use that control to empower you. So often control-exchange novels don’t have the first example to highlight the differences and can come across differently than intended. I felt like having the emotionally abusive relationship with Nick touched on at the beginning of the book really helped to enhance how supportive and mutually satisfying the relationship with Dominic was.For all the things that didn’t quite work for me in Truth, I still found the premise and plot fascinating and was invested in making sure Drew and Dominic found their happily ever after. Ms. Pucci also made the supporting characters and the world she’s begun building in this series compelling enough I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.My first wish for Truth would be another editing pass. There weren’t a ton of issues, but there were some minor grammatical issues and several instances of stilted dialogue and descriptions. I also felt the characters had some serious problems with consistency. Their personalities and voices seemed all over the place, and it made it hard for me to fully connect with them since I had no idea who they were going to be in the next scene.Truth is the first book in Trilina Pucci’s Sinful series. These books are slated to be interconnected standalones, as far as I can tell. I believe there will be an overarching storyline that will make more sense if the series is read in order, but each couple’s story seems to be contained in a single novel. Truth is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by Drew and Dominic.

Truth!!! Book One, based on one of the seven deadly sins, Lust, and I've died all the deads! I am enthralled and looking forward to more from Trilina Pucci! She's a new to me author and as far as being my first read from her, it certainly will not be my last!I was so drawn in to how Drew Matthews found her way to her bad add self! I loved her! There were times when she was with Nick that I was wondering what she was thinking putting up with him but then I understood how she got so wrapped up in pleasing him she lost herself. And eventually with Dominic King? Oh my King!!! Such an alpha, devil, sinful- I love him. She found her true self and I'm so glad they found their way back to each other and found more than lust. To me, they're the dynamic duo! You have to read this beautiful beginning to what is to be an epic series! Looking forward to Luca next!😍

I am officially in love with this writer and her style. This was my very first read from her and I KNOW it won't be my last. This story was AMAZING!!I absolutely loved the relationship between the characters and how well they complimented each other. I enjoyed watching them spar and seeing the sparks between them. Drew is definitely one of my favorite heroines ever!!!The story flowed so well. I ended up binge reading this beauty in about a day.I absolutely recommend this amazing story!!

This is my very first Trilina Pucci book but after reading it, I know I am a huge fan. This story was so sinfully good and decadently enchanting that I couldn't put it down. The hint of danger and the heavy dose of scorching heat just made it irresistible to my bookworm heart. And it doesn't hurt that King is the perfect combination of forbidden fruit and dangerous alpha bad boy that can melt your panties with his addictive gaze.Drew captured my attention from the very start. The strength she shows in escaping her abusive relationship is simply admirable. But she only finds her real self again, once she captures King's interest. And though their attraction and even feelings are practically instant, the story is written in such a way, that it actually makes you believe in instant connection.Of course, Drew and King's relationship is not a walk in the park. Drew's fear of trusting herself again and King's stubbornness nearly destroy what they have, but in the end, as they say, love conquers all :D Of course, there are few more obstacles on their way, but they only strengthen their relationship and love for each other.I would actually compare this book to the Mount Trilogy or the Savage Trilogy by Meghan March. It has exactly the same forbidden feel to it and the same scorching heat factor :D So if you are a fan of Meghan, I am pretty sure you would love Truth as well. As for me, I can't wait to get my hands on Worship, the second book in the series and to find out what happens with Drew's best friend and King's brother :DI voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was confident I was going to enjoy this book but honestly, it went well beyond my expectations. This is my first Trilina Pucci book, but she has cemented herself as a go-to one-clicker! The storyline is tantalizing, with the best kind of characters--a sassy, strong, intelligent, and independent heroine in Drew, and a strong, tattooed, dominant hero in King (Dominic). This book is a page-turner and you won't want to put it down! This book is S.E.X.Y. I love that Trilina is writing an entire series surrounding the seven deadly sins, with Truth being the first. I can't wait for more from this world. Brava for Truth! 5 stars from me.

About the Author

G. Edward Griffin is a writer and documentary film producer with many successful titles to his credit. Listed in Who s Who in America, he is well known because of his talent for researching difficult topics and presenting them in clear terms that all can understand. I purchased this book as my father has advanced prostate cancer and I wanted to find out more about B17. I came across the potential benefits of B17 (laetrile / amygdalin) in the form of bitter apricot kernels through Ty Bollinger's book - 31 Day Home Cancer Cure The 31-Day Home Cancer Cure(an excellent read for anyone who has cancer or wishes to prevent cancer using alternative approaches). My father has been taking the bitter apricot kernels for the last 9 months and his PSA reading has dropped dramatically (165 to 13).Having said this there are numerous bad reviews about B17 and the bitter apricot kernels all over the internet (conventional view is that bitter apricot kernels don't work and are extremely dangerous as they release cyanide and can kill you in a 'high enough dose'). So my big questions were:1. What is the scientific evidence for B17 and cancer treatment?2. If it works, why is it not a recommended option offered by GPs and consultants?3. Who else has taken bitter apricot kernels and what have their results been? How do these results compare to conventional treatments of surgery, radiation treatments, chemo or hormone treatments?4. Ultimately (and my only purpose for reading this) - after researching things, do I still think taking bitter apricot kernels is doing my dad more good than harm? Should he continue with them?As part of my research, I bought this book, along with Laetrile Case Histories Laetrile Case Histories; The Richardson Cancer Clinic Experience, Cancer, Metabolic Therapy and Laetrile Cancer, metabolic therapy, and laetrile: A case history, with discussion of clinical application and materials used, B15 The Miracle Vitamin B15, Miracle Vitamin and Vitamin B15 (Pangamic Acid) Properties, Functions and Use Vitamin B15 (Pangamic Acid : Properties, Functions and Use).So how has this book helped me in my quest? I found this particular book to be extremely informative for several reasons:1. This is the first time I have come across the theory that cancer is the result of a 'vitamin' deficiency - B17. (This is a very controversial theory and much disputed in medical circles). I say 'vitamin', as B17 is not a recognized / acknowledged vitamin by the FDA.2. It explains the mechanism of how B17 works on cancer cells. In essence, it is true that bitter apricot kernels release cyanide - however, this is only true in the case of cancer cells, as they produce an enzyme that 'unlocks' the cyanide - and in fact it is this unlocked cyanide that kills the cancer cell.3. Provides some interesting statistics on long-term survival of cancer patients using nutritional therapy Vs conventional cancer treatments, along with some anecdotal case histories.4. Provides an insightful history on the politics of cancer treatment. It is really important to understand this, before passing judgment on whether alternative therapies work. If you know anyone who says "If it worked my consultant would have recommended it" - get them to read the second half of this book.In summary, this is a very well written book and a must read for anyone who has cancer, knows someone who has cancer or who wants to minimize their chances of getting cancer. I would recommend reading it cover to cover, rather than dipping in and out - as the chapters build on each other. Personally, I found it an easy and fascinating read. Of the books I have read, this was the best introduction to B17 and also one of the best on the politics of cancer treatments. (As an aside, Hoxsey Therapy: When Natural Cures for Cancer Became Illegal is an alarming first hand account of the politics of cancer treatment Hoxsey Therapy: When Natural Cures for Cancer Became Illegal; the Autobiogaphy of Harry Hoxsey, ND.For those that are interested, my conclusion (based on all of my research to date) is that my dad should continue with the bitter apricot kernels (he does about 25 per day in lots of 5 or 6 throughout the day) - and not only that, it has opened my eyes and I have started taking them myself as a preventative approach. I continue my research...

This book is so informative and answers any question you might have about B17. I was so shocked and amazed by the information in this book. My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery to remove it and everything went fine. According to pathology reports they got all of the cancer. She has had 3 sisters that had breast cancer, her mom had colon cancer, and a brother had lung cancer, so you can figure we have a strong history of cancer possibly even genetic. They want her to have chemotherapy to make sure it doesn't come back but she has had open heart surgery and her cardiologist said she could not have chemo. So we were looking into some alternative source and this is gonna be it. I am so glad we found this book, it has answered alot of our questions. Recommend it highly!!!! I cannot believe our government keeping things from us like this. Money is not as important as someones life. Wonder what else they are hiding or keeping from us??????
