When I'm leading a bible study for women, I want to be able to trust the theological underpinnings of the material as well as the ways it encourages women to apply the Bible to their lives. Chris Gordon and Hope Blanton have covered those bases beautifully in this study guide--as well as others in this series. Philippians is a relatively short book, but each chapter in the study guide digs deeply into the verses to uncover history and gospel truths alike in order for us to be changed by it.My current group is covering a chapter a week independently and we get together one Saturday a month to discuss the materials. Great study. Has spurred good discussion in our bible study. The commentary and questions are well written. Recommend!

I love this study! It's short so it's easy to find time for it even though I have two little ones, but it goes deep and the questions are challenging and helpful. I love the commentary as well. I'm not finished with the study yet but I've learned so much already and can't wait to get started on another of their studies!

I have enjoyed this Philippians study so much. Even with two little kids, it is realistic to go through alone or with a group. The commentary is fantastic and so helpful.
